Markus Gabel is the founder of DowHow Trading and the creator of the DowHow methodology.
For more than 26 years, he has worked in trading, financial education, mentoring, and rule-based market analysis. His work is built on one central principle: trading is not about prediction, excitement, or emotional decision-making. It is about structure, mathematics, discipline, and the ability to follow a clear rulebook under pressure.
With DowHow Trader 2.0 Bangkok, Markus brings this methodology into a professional selection and training environment in Thailand. The goal is not to hire finished traders, but to identify disciplined people, train them step by step, and help them develop the mindset and reliability required for rule-based market work.

In 1983, Chicago commodities trader Richard Dennis — who had turned an initial stake of under $5,000 into over $100 million — made a wager with his partner William Eckhardt. Dennis believed that trading could be systematically taught to anyone. Eckhardt believed it required innate talent. To settle the argument, Dennis placed an advertisement in The Wall Street Journal.
Twenty-three complete beginners were selected, trained for two weeks in a systematic set of trend-following rules, given funded accounts, and sent to trade. The group generated over $175 million in profits across five years. Dennis won the bet. The result was unambiguous: disciplined, rule-based trading success could be taught — and it had nothing to do with intuition, prediction, or talent.
The Turtle Traders, as they became known, proved one thing above all else: the edge was never in the person. It was in the system, and the discipline to follow it without exception.

Learn a rule-based trading craft and, in time, qualify for a possible paid role within the project.

Intensive on-site training in Bangkok. Free of charge. Assess reliability, communication, and rule-following ability.
Supervised training simulations and suitability evaluation. Not employment or unpaid work. No salary during this phase.
The finest candidates may be offered a paid professional role within the Bangkok project.

From Application to a
Possible Paid Role
Submit your application with the application form, written responses, in English.
In-person interviews planned to commence on or around 17 August 2026.
Full-time, on-site training in Bangkok. Free of charge for selected candidates. There is no course fee. Basic daytime catering or refreshments are planned during the intensive training days. Candidates remain responsible for accommodation, travel, evening meals, and personal expenses.
Supervised training simulations and evaluation exercises to assess whether candidates can apply the DowHow methodology, follow rules, document their work, accept feedback, and remain stable under pressure. This phase is not employment, an internship, or unpaid work for Pure Logic Society Ltd. Candidates do not provide services to the company or to clients and do not receive a salary during this phase.
A professional role may be offered only to candidates who successfully complete the full evaluation and meet the required standard.

The training itself is free of charge. Your investment is time, discipline, availability, and personal responsibility.
For selected candidates, the intensive training programme is free of charge. There is no course fee. The project does not ask candidates to pay for training.
